Battery Label Redesign
Objetive
Create a clear, cost-effective, and sustainable solution to replace the problematic plastic bag system used to deliver the battery manual and warranty, ensuring the information reliably reaches the end customer while reducing material usage and production costs.
Process
We analyzed the client’s production and delivery challenges, identifying key pain points with the existing method: detachment of the bag during transport, lost manuals, customer complaints, and high material costs.
We proposed a single, large adhesive label as a consolidated solution: the back of the label includes the manual content, the front highlights key user information, and a perforated section serves as a detachable warranty card. This design streamlined production, reduced material waste, and improved reliability.
Result + Impact
The redesigned label eliminated the risk of losing the manual and warranty during transport, ensuring customers received all necessary documentation. This change significantly reduced production costs and material usage, making the process more efficient and sustainable, while also improving customer satisfaction and reducing legal claims.
